Description

Woodford State Fish and Wildlife Area is a picturesque bottomland setting with a variety of trees like the silver maple, cottonwood, ash and willow trees. The many artesian wells on the property make it an excellent area for winter fishing. The park is also full of waterfowl during migration season making it a popular hunting area. Picnicking, camping, boating and hiking are also enjoyed on the 2, 900-acre site.

More than 3 miles of marked trails are open to hikers, cross country skiers and hunters. Trails are closed during fall migration. Bicycles are prohibited. Phone (309) 246-8351
